| The place is nothing short of magic! We came
here to climb in El Chorro but walked away with so much more. (actually
we're having to tear ourselves, teeth and limb, away from here. It is so
difficult to leave.) But we hope to be back some day soon. Many thanks to
Alan and Colleen for making this such a special place away from the
maddening crowds below |

Arriving in the
dark - luckily with Alan and Colleen - we though we might never find it
again but it was well worth the "bumpy" road - a truly spectacular view from
an amazing cosy place in peace and quiet and lovely night time darkness - we
slept 10 hours ever night!
The walks are easy
to follow although the "scale" is missing and some walks don't have written
details but it is not hard to work out where you need to head as you can see
the cabin and house from most routes! A lovely little dog followed us
home from the valley - we thought we were special but apparently he follows
everyone! Don't feed him and he goes home after a while.
We came to rest
and climb and did a couple of days as had quite a bit of rain at the Valle
de Abdalajis. Both roads to Álora are okay and we went up and down but
the rain made them a bit washed out in places - just go slowly unless you
have a 4x4 and experience! Or you can always go back to Estación de Cartama
which is actually not much longer and good tarmac roads.
Colleen did us
Paella for the first night and it was lovely! Pizarra is pretty and lots of
churches and a convent and interest streets. Recommend to everyone!
Need to make some postcards for visitors to send home! |

| Just a quick 5 day trip to escape the greyness of London -
unfortunately without my other half, Linda. Just breathing in the mountain
air was enough to make me relax and concentrate on my yoga. It's just so
wicked here - can't get enough! |

| A wonderful and peaceful place to be, just
what we were looking for.
The cabin and views are magnificent. A great place
to chill and recharge your batteries. Alan and Colleen are very friendly and
respect the fact you are looking for peace and quiet.
A nice place to be. |

| Thank you for this beautiful space.
It provided us with a very peaceful and prayerful week. (without the kids!!)
We enjoyed your company the evening you came up for a drink
- to clean the pool :)
We will be back again, God bless. |

| Thank you for this wonderful stay! The cabin is
perfect. We wanted to get away from the city so this place was perfect
for us. And the view is amazing! Also you have both been very friendly
and good at giving people their privacy. |

| Thank you internet!! Without you we would probably never have found this
magnificent spot. And this is exactly what we hoped for when we sat in front
of the screen studying those tiny pictures. And you, Colleen & Alan, have
found the perfect balance between showing hospitality and leaving room for
privacy. Looking forward to seeing you again! |
